Here are the main series of refractory products of our company:
1) The magnesia carbon brick for steel ladle slag lines. Developed by our company, the magnesia carbon bricks of low silicon and high calcium have produced high volume density and low porosity magnesia carbon bricks through the unique method of combining with practice, adopting quadrilateral ramming mass first and then conducting high pressure forming, which show the positive features of antioxidant and anti slag erosion, and can be used on LF refining steel ladle over 60 times in terms of its service life..
2) Mg-Al Spinel carbon-free steel ladle bricks. To meet the requirements of smelting low carbon steel and alloy steel, the company has developed a new series of Mg-Al spinel carbon-free steel ladle bricks which can form a tight layer of Ma-Al spinel to effectively prevent from slag erosions and meanwhile slightly swell, lowering the joints erosion speed, resisting abrasion and not shedding. This new product can be used over 110 times.
（3) Al-Mg carbon, Mg-Al carbon steel ladle bricks. The Al-Mg carbon and Mg-Al carbon steel ladle bricks produced by the Company can be used on LF refining steel ladles over 120 times, and distinct laying methods are applied based on features of different parts of steel ladles to reach the effect of equal erosion.
4) Series products of steel ladle blocks. Developed by our company, the breathable blocks and pocket blocks have the strong abilities of anti-erosion, thermal shock resistance, anti-stripping and features of low porosity, and dense and homogeneous structures.etc. The product can be used up to 60 times and it has currently occupies 60% of ANSTEEL’s market share portfolio. i.
5) Series products of air blocks. The slot air block, developed by our company, has of anti-erosion and anti-scouring features. It also has a long working life, and a high winnowing rate. Currently, it occupies over 75%of ANSTEEL’s market share portfolio.
（6) Series products of upper and lower ladle nozzles. The upper and lower ladle nozzle, produced by the Company, is made of aluminum, zirconium and carbon. Through optimizing the carbon composite, it applies a 1,000-ton press machine to form high pressure, buried carbon burning and vacuum asphalt impregnation. This product has the features of high thermal shock resistance, anti-scouring, anti-erosion. etc. Especially, during the supply delivery of lower ladle nozzles, the uniquely developed full shell replaces the half shell which solved the frequent bleed-out problems of several suppliers because of the craze of half shelled bricks. This product of our company, thanks to the replacement, has occupied over 90 ANSTEEL’s market share portfolio
（7) Unshaped refractory for steel ladles. The refractory masonries and repairs of ladles produced by our company include permanent lining castable, magnesium, magnesium/aluminum，chromium plaster, chromium corundum joint sealant, brick cup repair mat, the edge of jar castable, the bottom of jar repair mat, and the slag line gunning mix. The best plan of producing for the products above will be made based on the specific use of each part, through correctly optimizing the performances of insulation, working and anti-erosion. Particularly, the brick cup repair mat, developed by our company, improves the service life of ANSTEEL brick cup to over 12 times, improving the heat turnover rate of ladle.
2 Series of Refractory for Tundish
1) Shaped refractory products for tundish. The tundish turbulent flow controller, slag wall, strike plate and pocket block have the advantages of anti-slag, high hot strength, long working time, etc.
2) Unshaped refractory products for tundish. With the magnesian/ calcium magnesium paint and dry vibration materials, this series of products are able to meet the requirement of the 50-hour working time.
3) Series of Refractory Materials for Converter
1) Refractory products for furnace bricks of converter. The furnace bricks of converter, developed by the company, apply the magnesia carbon brick, which has stable nature, and strong abilities of anti-erosion, anti-stripping and anti-thermal shock stability, and the working time on large converters reaches over 1,000 times.
2) Thermal repair refractory products for converters. Based on the needs of different clients, our company has developed several repair mats for the large area thermal repair of converters. One of them is the newly developed “Environmental quick-sintering large-area artesian flow repair mats”, which takes less than 10 minutes to sinter and has the advantages of good fluidity, being environmentally friendly, easy construction, saving time of fetting, etc.
3) Dry gunning materials for converters are the thermal repair mats for trunnion parts of converters. And it brings out several advantages because of dry gunning.

4. The masonry methods and brick designs of ladles. Based on process characters of different refining ladles, the reasonable design can be adopted on masonry methods and brick designs particularly. Some, like alumina-magnesite carbon, Al-Mg spinel, magnesite carbon slag line bricks, etc., have been developed and reached the goal of equal erosion and improving the working time of all. For example, on the development of the 100 tons ladle slag line magnesite carbon bricks of the Second Steel Plant of ANSTEEL, our company adopts creative technical thoughts, changes the edge-on round laying into fan-shaped laid flat and improves the contents, solving the serve erosion problems of edge-on round laying. It promotes the working time from 24 times to over 60 times, winning back the praises of users.
